Online Course Website with Lesson Booking: AtelierLibres
AtelierLibres teaches French online over Zoom to adults and young people of any level around the world. On the website, a student buys a course, signs in to a personal account and picks the day and time of a lesson in a calendar.
Project in brief
AtelierLibres offers online French courses, with lessons held over Zoom. The website is built on WordPress with the Eduma theme, LearnPress and Elementor. Buying a course, registration and a personal account all work online. A lesson is booked through a calendar and confirmed by an administrator. French is the main language of the site, and translation runs through Multigura.
Challenge
What an online course website has to do
Students come from different countries and at different levels. Choosing a course, buying it and booking a lesson should all happen on one website.
A course must be sold online, with registration and sign-in
Both the student and the teacher need their own account
The student picks the lesson time, and an administrator confirms it
French is the main language, while the audience is worldwide
The brand is built on four values:
Listening
Kindness
Precision
Creativity

Structure and style before the build
Before the build, wireframes and a style guide were prepared. The wireframes showed the page structure and the content layout. The style guide gathered the visual style of the site in one document.

Solution
How the course platform works
The site is built on WordPress with the Eduma theme, and its pages are made in Elementor. LearnPress manages the courses. A student buys a course online, registers and signs in to a personal account. The teacher has a personal account too.
Besides language courses, the site has sections on psychology, fashion and cinema. All of them are tied to French culture.
If you are planning a similar platform, take a look at the website development service and its pricing.
